ROAD TRIP TO OKHLESHWAR

1–2 minutes

During this pandemic everyone wants to go out , eat and travel. During lockdown I planned so many trips ! So finally I started with a road trip to okhleshwar , a temple in the midst of nature , covered with villages and lakes all around. It is somewhat 60 kms from Indore. The way there is the best part. I went there with my family and we found a real good picnic spot on the way !

It would take you around 2 hours to reach there. On the way you’ll find some amazing roads covered with trees from both the sides. Few very good picnic spots. Waterfalls ! And few villages. I suggest interacting with villagers would be nice for a tea break on the way around. Also do take packed lunch there !

As you reach there you’ll see a lord Hanuman idol and when you move further you’ll see lord Shiva idol. Few people reading AKHAND RAMAYAN , going on since last 50 years. Very peaceful place to let your mind swing around. There is also a holy water body called KUND. You can spend an hour there wandering around in temple or the village.

On our way back as I mentioned above , we had our lunch on a hill on the side of the road. We took the cars up there. It was a real conversation with nature. It was raining , the winds and birds singing around was so unrealistic. We usually forget about nature in our daily lives and that nature gives the best therapy.

On your way back you can also visit Tinchha falls. An amazing waterfall. Nature never fails to surprise us !

I suggest you to go there by car or any off-roading bikes. Because it makes the way adventurous and more beautiful !!

If you have already visited the place , do tell me your experience and if you’re visiting noe and have questions ! Do ask me.

HAPPY TRAVELING. STAY SAFE. ❤
